OTHER BRAIN EXCHANGESReady to create the magic of a Brain Exchange and meet extraordinary women in your city? Contact Anita. I'll do my best to put you in touch with like-minded women in your area. Northern CaliforniaSF East Bay - The original Brain ExchangeStarting in 2014, attendance at the El Cerrito meeting is by invitation -- through Eventbrite -- and limited to 26 attendees. Any member can sign herself + a guest up for a meeting. When that limit is reached, Eventbrite automatically maintains a wait list and adds those names when a member cancels. The reason for this change stems from our desire to maintain the feeling of community -- and having past attendees along with new people seems to meet that need. (As always, Anita and Susan will be happy to share what they know about creating and sustaining a Brain Exchange.) Santa Cruz, CaliforniaSanta Cruz Brainstorm Circle (SCBC)

MexicoSan Miguel de Allende, MexicoThe San Miguel Brain Exchange met from 2005 to 2011, and then took a break, but we are back, since 2015!! We meet the second Wednesday of every month from 3:00 to 5:00 PM, at the Lifepath Center: Rinconada de la Aldea #29. (Enter the Aldea Arch on Zacheteros and you will see the walkway on your right.) We ask for $50 pesos to cover the room rental. We do not meet in February (because of conflicts with the Writers’ Conference), April, or May. All women are welcome. No reservation needed. We are English-speaking women from both the Mexican and foreign communities. Don’t wait until you have a problem to solve. Come to network, meet new friends, and connect with other creative women. We grow by word-of-mouth, so we always welcome newcomers, whether residents or visitors to San Miguel. We have brainstormed a wide variety of topics such as I need a book title, how should I manage my difficult grandson, where can I take people in Mexico City, how can I persuade my husband to move here, how can I market my unusual business, and many more! It’s great fun and very productive. If you have questions, contact Sarah Powers: sarahgracepowers@gmail.com
